Lacing and such - plus how to organize an entire product line

Hello Everyone! It’s Tina here… I’m back again! I am so thrilled to be staying on as part of the 2011 Design Team! The girls on this team are SO talented! I am honored to be among them! I hope that thru the next 6 months I will be able to inspire you to create and to get organized!
Speaking of organized… aren’t you just in AWE over the new ALL IN ONE clip-it-up? A-MAZ-ING!!! And the tray? A definite must have!!! I can’t wait until they arrive !!
To begin with today, I have a project to share with you. Do you ever get that paper collection that you just ADORE and then not know quite what to do with it? That was the way I felt with the Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 line! I was in love with every creation I seen with it online, but when it arrived I was afraid to use it! I finally gathered up the nerve to dig it out, and I’m so glad I did! I just love how this page came together. Before I share any more about it, let me show it to you…

Here are a couple of details shots… I have to admit that I was inspired by my new team mate Natasha (…I love how she does lacing and such… so I had to try it! You should too… it’s so fun! I used mini brads and some jute! I also went a bit crazy with my sewing machine! J

I absolutely LOVE working with collections! When one comes out that I love, I like to buy everything! When I get it all, I often don’t know how to store it. The paper goes one place, and the embellies in another… stickers somewhere else. So when I was playing with this collection, I had a great idea! When I get my Clip it up JUMBO set up in my new scrap space, I am going to organize my collections in these…

I love these little organizers. You can get them at the dollar store or Walmart for about $1-2. I already have some around with collections in them. So I thought that using my JUMBO for these collections is going to work perfectly! Here’s my plan… I will store the papers in the clear folder. Then the embellishments will go on a binder ring (Since sometimes I use the embellishments with things other than that collection). Then I will store them together on my JUMBO! I will make tabs using the tabs provided to specify what manufacturer it is… I am SO excited about this!! It will keep all of my favorite collections at arms reach, just where I want them!

Through the next few months I hope to be able to share with you bits of my journey towards getting into my new scrap space and getting it organized! Be sure to tag along! You just might get inspired to get organized yourself!
Until next time… Happy Scrapping!
Tina

  3. I love my jumbo clip-it-up. I used it to organize my massive collection of acrylic stamps. I wasn't using them, but now I do since they are easy to get to. I have the jumbo with the add on top ring.

  5. Beautiful layout! I do a lot of lacing, too! Watch out, though...it is quite addictive! LOL For a while, there was not a single layout I did that did not have lacing of some sort! LOL...You did a marvelous job!
