CKC Pasadena

Hi this is Carolyn!

Dianna and I were at the Pasadena CKC show June 12-13. It was lots of fun, even though we never saw the sun (yucky weather). This was the first show with all of our new products. It was fun to see people's reactions to all our products and all the different possibilities.

This is our lucky winner of the New Clip it Up Mini!

The best thing about going to the shows are all the creative scrapbookers we get to meet. I feel like I have friends all over. We got to see our friends Margie and Donna who we met at our first show 3 years ago and we've been friends ever since.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to see us! Next stop CKC Charlotte, NC Aug. 14-15, 2009

1st Simply Renee Inc. Design Team

I am so excited to announce Simply Renee's first ever Design Team. We look forward to working with these creative ladies and can't wait to see what they come up with. Starting July 15th, the Design Team members will post every Wednesday.

Danielle Holsapple

Bio: My name is Danielle and I live in a suburb of Kansas City. I am a wife, mother of a daughter on Earth and a son in Heaven, and a scrapbook addict! I have been scrapbooking for about 8 years and it has become a part of who I am. It is my creative release and also my therapy! I have had the pleasure of serving on numerous design teams. They range from kit clubs, to challenge blogs, to stamp companies to paper companies. I have also had the privilege of seeing my work in print numerous times. My style is all over the place because I love to try new techniques and am always up for a challenge.

Lisa Day

Bio: I live in Michigan with my husband of 8 years and our two beautiful children Katelyn and Noah. I am super close with my entire extended family and I wouldn't have it any other way! Scrapbooking is my biggest passion and I love inspiring others to be creative and enjoy their lives. I also enjoy gardening, playing with the kids, decorating the house, organizing, photography, being outdoors (except for during the winter!) and loving life! I am teacher at Big Picture Scrapbooking (www.bigpicturescrapbooking.com) and I love it! I've started The Creativity Project, to inspire others to do something creative everyday, on my blog. The project has been received well by so many people and was even featured on Studio 5 on KSL TV (an NBC affiliate in Utah).

I am on several design teams and get to teach scrapbooking and card classes regularly at a local LSS-For Keeps Super Scrapbook Store and online at Scrap-Tastic.com. In addition to that, I have prepared samples and done make and takes as the past 4 CHA Conventions. I'm also a Prima Marketing Inc. endorsed teacher. I'm the mother of two and a fifth grade teacher.

Susan Lush
Bio: Hi! My name is Susan Lush. I have been scrapping for close to six years and still love it as much (if not more) than when I started. My style has changed but my love for the craft has not. I am currently on the Design Team at ACHERRYONTOP.COM and have been for the past two years. I am also the Message Board Coordinator there. I have not been published, just to chicken to submit I guess. Maybe someday. I am married to an Air Force guy and he is a Major. So it is Major Lush. First time in ten years, I have enjoyed that last name! I have one son, who is the love of my life and my little buddy. My hobbies other than scrapping are: reading, walking, chatting and MIAMI DOLPHIN football. Those that know me, know that Sundays revolve around football in the fall.

Melissa and her 5 Clip it Ups

When Melissa contacted us and told us how much she loves the Clip it Up, she really wasn't kidding! She has 5 of them!!! We asked her if she wouldn't mind sending us pictures and telling us a little bit more about herself and how she has them organized.

My passion is scrapbooking, and jewelry making; however I also enjoy painting, drawing, cross stitching, card making, and pretty much anything else that gets my creative juices flowing. I am engaged to super sweet Man who has been a super hero to me these past few years. I became disabled 4 years ago and he has stood by me the whole way. Each day he just amazes me more then the day before. Prior to becoming disabled I achieved a degree in visual communications and graphic design, and also spent some time as a scrapbooking instructor. I love my pets also. I live with 2 cats, 3 labs, and a rat. I have never purposly went out and found a pet, I have just never turned them away when they showed up on my door step. I always kinda thought God must send them to me for a reason so I could never turn one away. So that is the basics of me. I love to create, and I love to tend to lost little animals.

Clip it Up with Rub-Ons
First to her collection! "I was so excited when you came out with this because it was finally a way to store rubon's so that they didn't get rubbed off before I got a chance to use them. This is the best solution for rubons I've seen." Melissa

Let me share with you a cause very near and dear to my heart

This year is the tenth anniversary of when my husband, Dale, suffered a trampoline accident that left him a quadriplegic. Although completely paralyzed initially, he began to have some return of sensory and motor function early in his rehabilitation. Today, as a result of many miracles as well as years of hard work, Dale is walking, driving, and using his knowledge, skills, and influence to help others who have also experienced a spinal cord injury.

Along with his therapist and partner Jan Black, Dale started a rehabilitation clinic called Neuroworx, the most comprehensive rehabilitation clinic in the western United States. Dale also formed the Dr. Dale B. Hull Foundation with the purpose of helping others with spinal cord injuries to obtain necessary therapy and to promote awareness, education, and funding for these life-changing events.

To commemorate both the ten-year anniversary of his accident recovery and the five-year operation of Neuroworx, Dale is running an in-the-water fundraising marathon. Walking or running on an underwater treadmill in a small pool is part of the aquatic therapy that helped Dale during his recovery. He will run 26.2 miles in chest-deep water during his fundraising marathon this summer. Visit run4sci.blogspot.com for more details.

Simply Renee is supporting these efforts by donating 15% of all sales during July 2009 to the Dr. Dale B. Hull Foundation to help spinal cord injury patients. Thank you to everyone who participates in this worthy cause to help others whose lives have been changed so drastically by supporting Simply Renee products in July.

Renee
