Jewelry Box

Hello again!  Natasha here with a jewelry box I made from a plain wooden box purchased at my local craft store.
To decorate the outside, I used gesso, Fiber Paste, Mix'd Media Inx and spray inks.
The chipboard pieces that adorn the lid of the box are manufactured by The Dusty Attic.  You can purchase these chippies HERE.  I made the large flower by hand using a flower tutorial by Mistra Hoolahan.  Her flower tutorials can be viewed HERE.
Beneath the French Window, I applied a layer of Glass Beads Gel to add a lovely texture.
The inside of the box is decorated as well!

Thank you for visiting me today!  Enjoy the rest of your week!

Saving Space

Simply Renee wanted to share how one of our customers used a Mini Clip it Up to store her
Cricut cartridges.

Here is what she started with 46 cartridges in boxes and the yellow bin, this took up 72" of shelf space...

Before
After
Now she has all her cartridges on the Clip it Up Mini that takes 16" of space on the top of her bookcase!!
Now she gets to go shop to fill up her empty space:)

Thanks Elizabeth for sharing your pictures with us!!!

'Luv Birds' Card

Hi friends!  Today I would like to share a special card I made for Donna & Danny Salazar in honor of their Anniversary!
I used Donna's Bonnie Birdcage in denim and chipboard for this card.
Aren't they such a cute couple?!
The denim cage was adhered to the chipboard cage and was then painted, stamped and Smooched.
The canvas flowers were made using Donna's 7x7 Canvas by Want2Scrap.  You can find the flower tutorial HERE.
The chipboard banner was stamped using a coordinating stamp by Art Gone Wild.  There is also a compatible die set by Spellbinders!
The two matching flowers were made using Spellbinders' Bitty Blossoms dies.
The bird and branch are part of the Mix'd Media Elements chipboard pack by Want2Scrap.  These elements also have coordinating dies.
This is the inside of the cover.
Here I used Donna's Cotton Lace stamp and Mix'd Media Inx Embossing Powder.
The Compatible Alphas by GCD Studios were painted with acrylic paint and covered with Fairy Dust Glitter.
I just realized I forgot to sign the inside of the card!  What if she doesn't know who it's from?! :o)
This gorgeous flower was made by my talented friend, Mistra.  She sent me a bunch of her gorgeous blooms and this one matches perfectly!
This background was so fun to make.  I used layers of tissue paper, paint, Smooch Spritz, Mix'd Media Inx and muslin to create this textured background.
Want2Scrap manufactures Wonderful Wings Nestabling that coordinates perfectly with the dies!
The back of the card was decorated with several different mediums to create this blingy texture.

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my card.  Have a beautiful day!
Natasha

Preciosa (Precious)-

Have you ever looked at a layout that you created only to realize that you don't like it?  This happened to me this past week.  I made a layout and there were things about it that bothered me!  LOL.  It was missing a bit of "me", if that makes any sense.  So I pulled it apart and fixed it up! Below is the finished version that I am happy with...
And below is the original layout that drove me nuts!  I have an issue with symmetry.  I prefer balanced, asymmetrical layouts.
I used Pion Design's new collection, Grandma's School Book.  Click HERE to view the entire collection.
I used one of Mistra's sketches for inspiration.  The final version of my layout is much more similar to the sketch.
I made the large flower by using Mistra's English Rose Tutorial.  You can download the tutorial HERE
This embossed image was stamped using Vilda Stamps V18 Flowerswirl.
These cute letters were cut from one of the Pion papers!  Their cut out sheets make it so simple to add embellishments to a layout.
This inked and embossed chipboard element was cut from the Dusty Attic chippy, Flourish #8 DA0702.  All of the Dusty Attic chipboard on this layout can be purchased from my SHOP.
The feathers were stamped with Vilda Stamp V336 Easter Rice & Feather.  It was then embossed and fussy cut to create this embellishment.

Thank you for stopping by today!  Enjoy the rest of your week!

Dreamer

Hello again, friends!  Hope you are all well and have been getting your craft on!
Today I'd like to share a layout I made using one of Pion Design's early collections called, Forget Me Not.  This is such a beautiful paper line; the colors are gorgeous!
I used this card sketch as inspiration, but I flipped it upside down to look like this and created a layout instead.  :o)
The beautiful blue flower was sent to me by my friend, Mistra.  You can download her tutorial HERE.

Dusty Attic chippies add such a lovely touch to any layout.  You can purchase these chipboard elements HERE.
Behind the photo, I layered several papers that were cut using different Spellbinders Dies.  Spellbinders has an amazing variety of dies to choose from.
The green Grassy Knoll flowers are also manufactured by The Dusty Attic.
Click HERE to view my Twisted Lacing Tutorial.

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a lovely day!
