Men have lots of different hobbies fishing, golfing, skiing, biking and hunting and they have the same problem with organizing as women do.
Remember you use what you See!
Scott Bryne's hobby and passion is "Tying Flies" What a great way to display all his items and now he can see what he has. Scott loved it so much he took it to a local fishing store and now the store is carrying our products. A big thanks to Scott!!!!
Help us think of more ways men can use Clip it Up products to get organized. Email or leave us your idea as a comment and we will pick one random winner to receive the Clip it Up Jumbo . Contest ends June 30th.
My husband is a woodworker, and he said that he if had one of these he would use it to store and sort his patterns for his woodworking projects. Right now he has them in a pile in his desk drawer that he has to rummage through in order to find what he's looking for!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great contest! I will share it on my blog. My dad is a contractor and his garage looks like my craft studio... it is filled from wall to wall with precious stuff! I should give my dad a CIU and a whole lot of zip bags to help organize all of his small items. It would help him save space and time when searching for what he needs. Thanks for the Father's Day gift idea!!
ReplyDeleteMy husband is a mechanic and we are currently living in an apartment. all the little parts for the cars are everywhere. If we had this all the car parts would go into bags and be organized in one area. And my house wouldnt look like a car shop!
ReplyDeleteMy late father was extremely handy and was always working with wood, building birdhouses or fixing anything and everything around the house (one of my best memories of him). His collection of nails and screws was as big as my collection of brads, eyelets and buttons of all shapes and sizes - hehe He sure could have used a Clip It Up to organize them all!
ReplyDeleteMy other half makes & paints minatures for role playing games. One of these would be great to keep all the small parts together in one spot & would keep the decals flat and in order.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win :) I LOVE my Clip It Up
This would be great for my dad to keep all of his woodworking supplies organized! It would also be fabulous for keeping nuts, bolts, screws, washers, etc. organized. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteMy husband is a woodturner and has so many misc kits (like kaleidoscopes, letter openers, pens, small ornament hangers) etc. This would be awesome for him! But, would I HAVE to give it to him if I win! :-) I probably would because I love him so much!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
My father-in-law is a clock maker and fixer (he is also a retired watch and jewelry maker). He has a work bench filled with little boxes of clock hands, faces, gears, springs etc. I often thought how a Clip It Up would be great for on his bench with all these parts within easy reach. I would LOVE to surprise him with this!

What a good idea. My husband loves suduko and cooking so he can have two sections hanging for recipes and suduko he does them out of the paper so he saves them to see where he went wrong or if he got it great! but this would be out of way and on his desk.
ReplyDeleteI'd have him use it to organize his neckties! Or maybe for nails, screws and picture hanging stuff in the garage :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband is an avid golfer & collects all his score cards to compare dates & numbers. This would be a great way for him to categorize them by the different courses he plays!
ReplyDeleteMy husband is a photographer. He can definitely use a Clip It Up for all his photos and different lens and accessories for his camera.
ReplyDeleteMy husband could use this on his workbench to organize his nuts, blots, screws and other goodies. He needs to clean and organize his mess!!

A Clip it Up for hubby, fantastic idea, he recently lost paperwork for 3 wks, turned the house upside down looking for it,with a Clip it up he would never have to again ask me have you seen that paperwork, my keys, what mail did I get today, where is that letter, his notepad, calculator, all the things he bugs me for when I am in the middle of something, he would never have to ask me where anything is, he could just reach out to his Clip it Up. I luv my Clip it Up
ReplyDeleteMy hubby is a mechanic and has all these specialized tools and manuals and nuts and bolts and this would be great for organizing his little/big stuff.

Hi guys thanks for all the fun ideas!!!! Someone is going to be very happy to win a Jumbo Clip it Up!!!
ReplyDeleteMy hubby has a million small parts in the garage that could be stored on a Clip It Up.
ReplyDeleteMy husband could use it to organize all the "little" things in the garage that has no place in the tool box. Or to organize all his geocaching stuff. He loves to geocache and this way he could have baggies ready of stuff to exchange out in the caches he goes to.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby has just started sea fishing and he also shoots so if he had one he would clip up his pots of pellets and his score cards.. He'd also use it for his fishing stuff - those little coloured feathery things he is now collecting and the hooks!! :o I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I saw him eyeing up my Clip it up ribbon organiser (playing with the little hanging clips he was!!) and he is NOT having that! lol Thanks for the chance x
ReplyDeleteI have tried posting several times now and it says the server is invalid so hopefully you get one of these!
ReplyDeleteHe's a builder and he uses it for jobs, receipts etc. I want mine back so hope he wins!!!
Ok, Renee...i told my hubby about this contest..and he had to comment! you know men! LOL.
ReplyDeleteSO...while he could feasibly use a clip it up for many many things in his life from his bit and pieces of eingines, to all his fishing tackle, etc...He says it would most serve him in the bedroom.
"Why in the bedroom?" I asked him.
My wonderfully smart alec husband responds...."For my socks. Because...You know how I am ALWAYS running out of socks...well. you could keep it STOCKED UP for me and I will never run out again."
LOL...OMGoodness...just had to share that!
Good luck to whomever wins!!!!!
Love the idea of using it for fly fishing stuff! DH and DS are hoping to start tying flies so I'll have to keep this in mind!
ReplyDeleteI immediately thought how helpful this would be for DH for his desk. He could use it to keep receipts organized for tax season, and Im sure fill it with lots of other paper/business cards.
Anything that would help my hubby be more organized is great! I would have him use this to keep all of the papers from work that come home and he has to sort through. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteMy husband works on electronics and this would be soo perfect for hanging his screws and small tools on and all of the other small stuff :) GREAT IDEA! Thanks!!!
ReplyDeleteI just bought my husband a new grill for Father's Day and now he is experimenting with all kinds of spices and rubs for the meat he is grilling. He could keep all of his grilling spices and mixes in one place and keep his hands off of my spice cupboard!
ReplyDeleteMy husband decided to help me out with my contest entry. Here it is straight from him...
ReplyDeleteI would get her to make cards up with all of the ridiculous things she wants done in the yard, in the house, on the roof... she might need two of them... then I could have her spin them once a week, and pick only one card for me to complete the task that is printed on it. That is how I would use it.
Call it a Nag preventer!
