CHA Winter 2010

I can’t believe it… our 4th year at CHA! My… how time flies!

We had a great time this year. We were worried because we were in the back part of Hall D, but it worked out great! We had nice neighbors and everyone seemed to find us ok, and overall we were busy most of the time.

Our booth was fun, unique, antique, and unusual. Since we went to the International Quilt Show last year, and there are quilters at CHA, we brought along our antique sewing machine, along with other antiques and quilting items.

We loved meeting new people and catching up with others we’ve known for several years. Scrapbookers and Quilters are just really nice, down to earth people who are fun, kind and some you just want to take home with you!

This is a picture of our new Floor Model. It was a “BIG” hit at the show! So many people fell in love with it when they saw it in magazines and had to come see it in person. It’s really sturdy, holds a lot of product and takes “shopping at home” to a new level. It is tall, but doesn’t take up that much space!

Here’s our new Ribbon Organizer Attachment! You asked for it and we listened! It allows you to put all the large rolls of ribbon, ric rac, lace, etc. and organize it with your regular ribbons. It is easy to snap onto the 36” Ribbon Organizer to double your space for storing ribbon.

Here’s a pic of Bobbi and myself. If you call the office, and or need anything, Bobbi is the one to talk to! I don’t know what I’d do without her to help me stay organized.

069 Carolyn (my younger and littler sister) has been in charge of all the shows we do. I really appreciate all her hard work and support she has given me for four years! She is a hard worker and as nice as can be!IMG_5678 The shopping cart chair, along with the chain link fence gate table is always a show stopper. It’s so fun to see people looking at it and then see the light go on when they figure out what it is. I love the “junk” treasures inside with all the old pictures.

We had two antique old doors at the show. The first is an old ticket taker door. I found it and fell in love with it. The paint on it was all cracked and I didn’t have to do a thing to it. It’s awfully heavy, but worth it!IMG_0474 The other door is an old screen door we use to hang a sign in. We attached a quilt piece for the bottom screen area. It looks great with the old sewing machine.

IMG_5661 The fun green flowing mesh is from Canvas Corp. We just needed something in the area by our old fun table. They had the booth behind us and when I saw the mesh – I had to have some. It is so easy to make you look good with turning and gathering the mesh because it holds its shape so well. Loved it!!!
