  3. My mom taught me so many things. Asking for help was one of them. I try to do it all myself and she has helped me realize that it is okay to need other people, like her, for help.

  5. My mom taught me to cook. I had to make entire meals all on my own (with her written directions), which was a great idea.

  6. The things my Mom has taught me; wow - I have to think about it because I have never even considered one thing that my Mom has taught me. If I had to pick one thing it would be how to cook. My Mom was an great cook. I remember that one year we were going to a family get together and she was upset that her cornbread did not look great but we took it anyway. Needless to say there was none left because it was not the best looking cornbread but it was the best tasting and everyone knew it.
