  3. I would definitely decorate it just like they did but with less brown and more white, since my room is mostly pink and white. Gorgeous. I'd love to win one of your Clip it ups! I've seen them online and they look soooo cool!

    ReplyDelete
  13. I would make it look like a flowering tree!! The branches would hold the packages of prima flowers and embellishments...

    ReplyDelete
  14. They did decorate it beautifully, though honestly I would be more likely to use it to hold my prima flowers than decorate it with them.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I think i would paint it and put ribbon and bows on

    ReplyDelete
  16. I would paint mine purple in honor of my favorite football team - the Baltimore Ravens

    ReplyDelete

I'd def use it for all my mini albums...I've been looking for a way to display all of them. Right now I just put them in a cupboard and no one can see them there, including me. This would be perfect!!

I'm seeing now thinking lots of different themes and possibilities, like valentine's and christmas colors and decorations. I so love the pink by prima and ideas. Way cool, thanks for the inspiration and a chance to win a CIU to try altering!!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Love the altered CIU. Mine would stay black with some black and white print paper on the base and red roses and black ribbon on the top... At least, that is what I think TODAY -- tomorrow may be a different palette!!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  39. great idea to alter it! i might do some alcohol inks and decoupage. if i had 1 to give away, i'd decorate it pink and white and donate/auction it for the Susan Komen foundation.

    ReplyDelete

  50. I would decorate it with flowers and ribbons. My room is eclectic just like my scrapbooking so most likely there would be a lot of different colors that would go together!! Thanks for a chance to win!!!

    ReplyDelete
  51. I too think that I would paint it only I would use some of the crackle paint on the base and the top to make it more shabby chic. I would paint the center a matching non crackle color. Probably going with a purple on both as that's my fav. Then I would add stickles to the top to make it sparkle. I would add ribbon/bows to the top and wind some ribbon thru the center to give it a little more pattern in the center. Prima flowers are a must to both the top and the base as well as some chip board letters to the top stating what my clip it up was being used for (ie: albums, stickers, stamps etc)

    ReplyDelete
  52. I would paint it a bright blue, add some lime and white flowers, with lots of bling and pearls to give a slightly vintage feel. This would be perfect for my new scrapping room!

    ReplyDelete
  56. My scrap room is pink and green - I have a big clip-it-up, but never thought to decorate it. I'm definitely going to do that now!

    ReplyDelete
  122. i could use one as a "book" making different things but with one theme. grunge would be fun do to, but then again, neat and snappy looks good, too. as you can see, i would have quite a bit to think about when starting this project.

    ReplyDelete
  126. My new room is green with mostly black or white accents (though most of my stuff is repurposed flea market find so nothing really matches but it works).

I like it black and clean lined but the Prima post really inspired me to think about painting & altering it. Everything looks better with some flowers & ribbon....

    ReplyDelete

  175. My office took pictures of everyone when I got our new backdrop. We used the black cloth. My office is black and pink. I would paint the unit black and use pink Prima flowers similar to what you had done above. I would wrap the pole with the same black and white paper (Like Prima did on the one they had on their blog) I would use when making the pages. I am thinking of a black and white damask with pink ribbon on the pages, using the new Sizzix Tim Holtz Baroque die on a square page with decorative corners. On each page would be the pictures we took that day, and the positive traits of each person as the journaling in black pen. Just as a reminder to everyone that,....work isn't all bad. I love this idea. Good one Prima and CIU. May have to make a similar one for home in different colors.
